Low Profile Roof Vent by Alpine Ventilation

Low profile roof vents are a great alternative to traditional roof cowls which require a steel pipe and roof flashing – which effectively makes the low profile roof vent, 3 products in one. They are also a stylish alternative to rotary vents, which also have the added complexity of moving parts. They can assist with compliance to NCC 2022 condensation management 10.8.2. when ducted or 10.8.3 when non-ducted to ventilate the roof space.

The low profile roof vent can be used with ducting to vent out exhaust fans and rangehoods or to vent out the roof space. Doing so can ensure compliance with 2022 NCC 10.8.2, which covers areas related to venting out kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and clothes dryers directly to outdoors and not to internal roof spaces or enclosed areas.
